About the Journal

Computers & Intelligent Decision Applications (CIDAI) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to publishing high-quality theoretical, methodological, and applied research in intelligent computing, computational intelligence, artificial intelligence, data-driven decision-making, and advanced computational technologies. The journal provides an interdisciplinary platform for researchers, academics, industry professionals, and practitioners to disseminate innovative scientific contributions that advance intelligent decision-support methodologies and computational applications across a broad spectrum of scientific and engineering disciplines.

The journal welcomes original research that develops novel computational models, intelligent algorithms, mathematical frameworks, optimization techniques, machine learning models, and advanced analytical methods for solving complex decision problems. Particular emphasis is placed on interdisciplinary research integrating artificial intelligence, computational intelligence, decision analytics, optimization, data science, intelligent information systems, digital transformation, and emerging computational technologies.

Computers & Intelligent Decision Applications (CIDAI) encourages both theoretical advances and practical applications in engineering, computer science, operations research, business analytics, healthcare, transportation, logistics, manufacturing, finance, cybersecurity, sustainability, smart cities, energy systems, and other domains where intelligent computational methods contribute to improved decision-making.

Published articles should demonstrate scientific originality, methodological rigor, and practical relevance through analytical, mathematical, computational, experimental, simulation-based, or empirical approaches.

General Guidelines for Authors

Computers & Intelligent Decision Applications (CIDAI) publishes the following types of manuscripts:

  • Original Research Articles
  • Review Articles
  • Short Communications
  • Methodological Papers
  • Application Papers
  • Case Studies

Research articles should clearly present the research motivation, a comprehensive review of relevant literature supported by recent references, a clearly identified research gap, a well-defined statement of scientific novelty, rigorous methodological development, appropriate theoretical foundations, comprehensive computational or experimental validation, critical discussion of results, and well-supported conclusions.

Short communications should report novel ideas, innovative concepts, or preliminary research findings in a concise format.

Review articles should provide comprehensive and critical analyses of emerging research topics, summarize recent scientific advances, identify current challenges, and propose promising future research directions.

Although research articles are typically between 8 and 20 pages, the journal does not impose strict page limitations provided that manuscripts maintain scientific quality, clarity, and relevance. Authors are requested to prepare their manuscripts using the official CIDAI manuscript template and follow the journal submission guidelines.

Extended versions of previously published conference papers are considered for publication provided that they contain substantial original scientific contributions beyond the conference version. Such contributions may include new theoretical developments, enhanced methodologies, additional computational or experimental validation, broader application studies, improved mathematical analyses, expanded discussions, or significantly enriched practical results. Previously published material must be properly cited and clearly distinguished from newly presented contributions.
